MALANG – Polisi Resor Malang, Polda Jawa Timur, berhasil mengungkap kasus peredaran narkoba jenis ganja di wilayah Kabupaten Malang.
Pada 20 Mei 2024, dua tersangka dengan inisial BFJ (23) dan ASP (24) berhasil ditangkap di sebuah rumah di Jalan Panderman, Desa Oro-oro Ombo, Kecamatan Batu, Kota Batu.
Dari penangkapan tersebut, polisi berhasil mengamankan 2 kilogram ganja kering siap edar.
Kasatresnarkoba Polres Malang, AKP Aditya Permana, menyatakan bahwa barang bukti yang disita meliputi dua paket ganja dengan total berat masing-masing 2 kilogram dan 3,42 gram.
“Kemudian 20 ranting ganja kering, alat hisap sabu, timbangan digital, puluhan plastik klip, korek api, dan dua unit ponsel yang digunakan untuk transaksi narkoba,” ucapnya.
Penangkapan ini bermula dari pengembangan kasus narkoba sebelumnya, di mana tersangka mengaku sering mengedarkan ganja di wilayah Kabupaten Malang dan sekitarnya.
Ganja tersebut dikemas dalam plastik klip bening seberat 3 gram dan dijual seharga Rp100 ribu, dengan imbalan Rp75 ribu setiap transaksi.
Peredaran ganja ini dikendalikan oleh seorang narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) yang bernama alias Ucil.
Pihak kepolisian juga mengajak masyarakat untuk aktif melaporkan aktivitas mencurigakan terkait narkoba guna memerangi peredaran tersebut.
Kedua tersangka saat ini telah ditahan di Rutan Polres Malang untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
Mereka terjerat Pasal 114 ayat (2) sub Pasal 111 ayat (2) Juncto Pasal 132 ayat (1) UU RI Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling singkat 4 tahun dan paling lama 20 tahun.
