JEMBER – Ketua Fraksi Partai Nasional Demokrat (NasDem) DPRD Jember, David Handoko Seto, menggelar sosialisasi rancangan peraturan daerah (raperda) tentang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Wawasan Kebangsaan, Sabtu (7/12/2024).
Acara yang berlangsung di Perumahan Gunung Batu, Kelurahan/Kecamatan Sumbersari ini dihadiri oleh ratusan warga.
Dalam sosialisasi tersebut, David menekankan pentingnya menjaga kerukunan masyarakat melalui penguatan rasa nasionalisme dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di era digital.
Politisi yang juga menjadi Wakil Ketua Komisi C DPRD Jember ini menyampaikan bahwa wawasan kebangsaan harus terus diwariskan lintas generasi.
“Sosialisasi ini kita buat agar masyarakat memahami betul landasan-landasan negara kita, yang sudah dirumuskan sejak berdirinya Indonesia. Pengetahuan ini harus diwariskan secara berkelanjutan,” ujar David.
Dia berharap para guru dapat berperan maksimal dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme kepada siswa, sebab lingkungan pendidikan menjadi kunci utama dalam membentuk generasi penerus bangsa.
“Kita memberikan pesan kepada para guru agar menyampaikan nilai-nilai kebangsaan ini kepada anak didik. Lingkungan pendidikan merupakan fondasi penting dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda,” tegasnya.
Di tempat yang sama, Advokat Moh. Husni Thamrin, yang turut menjadi narasumber, menambahkan bahwa di era digital saat ini, nasionalisme masyarakat telah berkembang menjadi internasionalisme.
Namun, ia mengingatkan pentingnya mempertahankan nilai kebangsaan sebagaimana diamanatkan oleh Undang-Undang Dasar (UUD).
“Nasionalisme saat ini sudah berkembang menjadi internasionalisme, namun tidak meninggalkan nilai kebangsaan Indonesia sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam undang-undang dasar,” pungkas Thamrin.
