Terbaru ini, Gus Fawait menemui Gubernur Khofifah untuk menjalin sinergi, khususnya terkait pemberantasan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Jember.
Gus Fawait melakukan hal tersebut karena memiliki kesamaan visi dan misi dengan Gubernur terpilih, Khofifah-Emil.
“Tekat Ibu Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Jatim sama seperti kami, yaitu bagaimana menurunkan angka kemiskinan, pengangguran, dan menjadikan ekonomi Jawa Timur sebagai penopang utama perekonomian nasional,” ucap Gus Fawait kemarin Selasa (10/12/2024).
Sebagai politisi yang telah berpengalaman dan pernah menjadi anggota DPRD Jawa Timur, Gus Fawait sangat menyadari bahwa membangun Jember tidak cukup jika hanya mengandalkan APBD saja, melainkan perlu sokongan dari APBD Provinsi dan APBN.
Oleh karena itu, Ia tidak menyia-nyiakan kesempatan untuk menjalin komunikasi dengan pemerintah provinsi dan pusat, guna mewujudkan pembangunan Jember di berbagai sektor.
“Kami sudah berkomitmen untuk mengintegrasikan program di Jember dengan visi besar Jawa Timur dan pemerintah pusat,” ujar Gus Fawait.
