JEMBER – Omongan Ketua Umum Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Kaesang Pangarep, akhirnya terbukti setelah proses rekapitulasi perolehan suara pada Pilkada Jember rampung.
Tempo hari, anak bungsu Presiden Republik Indonesia ke-7 ini berujar bahwa tahun depan Kabupaten Jember akan mempunyai bupati baru.
Bupati baru yang Dia maksud tidak lain adalah Gus Fawait, Calon Bupati nomor urut 2, yang Dia usung dalam kontestasi Pilkada Jember.
Kaesang menyampaikan hal itu dalam acara Kopdar Partai Solidaritas Indonesia bersama Keluarga Laskar Sholawat Nusantara (LSN) di New Sari Utama Convention Hall pada Selasa, 1 Oktober 2024 lalu.
“Insya Allah tahun depan kita sudah punya pemimpin baru untuk Kabupaten Jember,” ucap Kaesang kala itu, disambut tepuk tangan gemuruh dari anggota partai koalisi.
Kemenangan Gus Fawait telah disampaikan oleh KPU Jember usai menggelar rekapitulasi terbuka perolehan suara yang berlangsung kemarin Kamis, 5 Desember 2024, di Hotel Luminor.
Hasil akhir rekapitulasi ini menunjukkan bahwa Paslon Fawait-Djoko mendulang suara 588.761 atau 54,30%, sedangkan Hendy-Firjaun memperoleh suara 495.499 atau 45,70% dari total suara sah.
Dengan demikian, duet Fawait-Djoko secara resmi terpilih menjadi Bupati Jember periode 2025-2030, menumbangkan Paslon petahana yang telah menjabat sejak 26 Februari 2021 silam.
