JAKARTA – Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menegaskan komitmen penegak hukum dalam memberikan hukuman maksimal kepada bandar narkoba.
Langkah ini sejalan dengan arahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto yang menetapkan pemberantasan narkoba sebagai salah satu prioritas dalam Asta Cita.
“Kita sepakat untuk memberikan hukuman maksimal kepada semua pengedar dan bandar yang tertangkap,” ujar Listyo dalam konferensi pers di Mabes Polri, Kamis (5/12/2024).
Sebagai bagian dari strategi besar ini, pemerintah membentuk Desk Pemberantasan Narkoba di bawah koordinasi Menko Polkam Budi Gunawan, dengan Kapolri sebagai ketua.
Dalam sebulan terakhir, desk tersebut berhasil menangani 3.680 kasus narkoba, menangkap 3.965 tersangka, dan menyita barang bukti senilai Rp 2,88 triliun. Barang bukti tersebut meliputi sabu 1,19 ton, ganja 1,19 ton, dan ekstasi sebanyak 370.868 butir.
Selain itu, aset senilai Rp 1,05 miliar yang terkait tindak pidana pencucian uang (TPPU) turut disita.
Aparat juga mengidentifikasi 291 kampung narkoba, dengan 90 di antaranya menjadi prioritas untuk diubah menjadi kampung bebas narkoba melalui edukasi dan penyuluhan.
Untuk memutus kendali jaringan narkoba dari dalam penjara, bandar narkoba akan ditempatkan di fasilitas dengan pengamanan super maksimum.
“Kami bersama Kementerian Hukum dan HAM sepakat untuk memotong potensi kendali peredaran narkoba dari dalam lapas,” tegas Listyo.
Kapolri menekankan pentingnya rehabilitasi bagi pengguna narkoba guna mengurangi beban lembaga pemasyarakatan.
Pemerintah daerah diminta mengalokasikan anggaran untuk membangun fasilitas rehabilitasi, sementara tempat hiburan diwajibkan memasang stiker anti-narkoba.
Pelanggaran aturan ini akan dikenakan sanksi tegas, termasuk pencabutan izin usaha.
“Rehabilitasi adalah solusi utama. Kami juga mengajak masyarakat dan sektor swasta untuk bekerja sama dalam upaya ini,” jelas Kapolri.
Sebagai bagian dari kampanye, pemerintah berencana merekrut duta dari kalangan artis atau influencer yang pernah menjadi pengguna narkoba untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat.
Langkah ini diharapkan dapat menyelamatkan jutaan masyarakat dari bahaya narkoba.
Dengan berbagai upaya strategis ini, Kapolri optimistis Indonesia dapat terbebas dari jeratan narkoba yang selama ini merusak generasi muda dan mengganggu ketertiban masyarakat.
