JEMBER – Warga Dusun Mandigu, Desa Suco, Kecamatan Mumbulsari, Kabupaten Jember, digegerkan oleh penemuan mayat seorang pria pada Sabtu pagi (30/11/2024).
Mayat tersebut mengenakan kaos warna hitam dengan celana pendek warna biru tua kombinasi hitam, dan tas selempang warna hitam yang terdapat dompet berisi uang Rp20 ribu di dalamnya.
Sontak kejadian ini menimbulkan kehebohan di kalangan masyarakat setempat, terutama karena mayat tersebut ditemukan bersama beberapa tabung gas LPG 3 Kg yang diduga hasil curian.
Menurut Sitty Mutmainnah, salah seorang warga setempat, mayat pertama kali ditemukan oleh seorang warga sekitar yang hendak mencari rumput di lahan jagung milik warga.
“Tadi pagi kira-kira jam tujuh, ada warga yang lihat mayat itu di pematang sawah,” ungkap Sitty.
Warga yang mendengar keberadaan mayat tersebut langsung mendatangi lokasi, beberapa ada yang melapor ke polisi.
Setelah mendapat laporan dari warga, pihak Kepolisian Sektor (Polsek) Mumbulsari segera menuju tempat kejadian perkara (TKP).
Setibanya di lokasi, Kapolsek Mumbulsari, AKP Subagiyo, bersama tim reskrim, anggota SPKT, dan tenaga kesehatan (Nakes) dari Puskesmas Mumbulsari langsung melakukan pengecekan di lokasi.
“Diketahui korban berinisial S, warga Dusun Mandigu, Desa Suco, Kecamatan Mumbulsari,” kata Subagiyo.
Kepada Polisi, keluarga korban menerangkan bahwa pria berusia 49 tahun ini meninggalkan rumah pada dini hari sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB dengan alasan mencari bekicot.
“Namun, enam jam kemudian, warga menemukan tubuh S dalam keadaan tak bernyawa dengan posisi miring ke kiri di sawah,” ucap Subagiyo.
Menurut hasil pemeriksaan awal di lokasi, kata Subagiyo, tidak ditemukan tanda-tanda kekerasan pada tubuh S.
Namun, warga setempat menduga bahwa korban telah selesai melakukan pencurian tiga tabung gas LPG 3 kg sebelum akhirnya ditemukan tewas.
“Korban tersebut adalah residivis. Pada saat mayat ditemukan diduga telah selesai melakukan pencurian 3 tabung gas LPG 3 Kg,” ujar Subagiyo.
Keluarga S menolak untuk dilakukan autopsi disertai surat pernyataan penolakan, dengan alasan S memiliki riwayat penyakit jantung.
“Korban punya riwayat penyakit jantung. Jenazah korban telah diserahkan kepada keluarganya untuk dimakamkan,” pungas Subagiyo.
