JEMBER – Kepala Desa (Kades) Suren, Muhammad Tahe, memastikan proses Pemilu di wilayahnya berjalan sesuai prosedur.
Dia tidak ingin desanya menjadi tempat praktik politik kotor yang dapat mencederai demokrasi.
“Kita tahu banyak oknum yang sudah dipanggil Bawaslu. Jangan sampai itu terjadi di Suren,” tegasnya dalam kegiatan Bimbingan Teknis KPPS Pilgub Jatim dan Pilkada Jember di Desa Duren, Kamis (14/11/2024).
Dia menekankan agar penyelenggara Pemilu, khususnya di Desa Suren, bersikap netral dan selalu menjaga kode etik.
“Selaku kepala desa, saya meminta kepada penyelenggara Pemilu, jangan ikut bermain,” pintanya.
Tahe berharap, proses Pilkada di desanya dapat berjalan dengan jujur dan adil sebagaimana harapan masyarakat.
“Siapapun yang menang nanti, mau Paslon 01 atau 02, tetap akan jadi bupati kita,” ujar Tahe.
Dia juga menegaskan bahwa setiap warga memiliki hak pilih masing-masing yang tidak boleh diintervensi oleh siapapun.
“Di hari pelaksanaan pemungutan suara nanti, saya akan selalu memonitor setiap TPS untuk memastikan semuanya berjalan sesuai aturan,” ungkapnya.
Tahe bahkan akan mengundang media untuk bekerja sama menjaga netralitas Pemilu, guna meminimalisir peluang kecurangan.
“Kalau ada yang main-main, langsung diberitakan. Untuk itu, mari jalankan sesuai aturan yang ada,” bebernya.
Di akhir pernyataannya, Tahe memberikan penilaian bahwa kedua Paslon di Pilkada Jember sama-sama memiliki integritas.
“Jadi harapan saya, mari bekerja dengan baik, laksanakan sesuai Tupoksi yang benar, Insya Allah jerih payah kita akan jadi amal ibadah,” pungkas Tahe.
