JAKARTA – Polri memiliki sejumlah anjing K9 dengan keahlian spesifik yang menjadi tulang punggung dalam mengungkap berbagai kasus kriminal.
Dari narkotika hingga pelacakan tersangka buronan, tim K9 Satwa Baharkam Polri selalu hadir dalam operasi-operasi penting di seluruh Indonesia.
Lima anjing unggulan ini adalah Lilu, Wibawa, Roby, Arco, dan Lupita.
Mereka masing-masing memiliki spesialisasi yang berbeda namun sama pentingnya dalam tugas mereka.
Lilu, Ahli Pelacak Narkoba
Lilu, anjing betina jenis German Shepherd berusia tujuh tahun, telah terlibat dalam beberapa pengungkapan kasus narkoba berskala besar.
Bersama pawangnya, Bripka Hari Yunianto, Lilu sukses membantu polisi dalam pengungkapan narkoba, seperti pada kasus penyelundupan sabu asal Cina seberat 195 kg di Cikarang pada 2020 dan penggagalan sabu jaringan Sumatera-Jawa seberat 40 kg di Pelabuhan Bakauheni, Lampung pada 2022.
“Lilu merupakan K9 dengan kualifikasi pelacak narkotik yang lahir 5 Mei 2017,” kata Direktur Polisi Satwa Korps Sabhara Baharkam Polri, Brigjen Ahmad Subarkah, dalam keterangannya.
Wibawa dan Roby, Jago Pelacak Tersangka Buron
Selanjutnya, anjing jantan ras Malinois bernama Wibawa juga turut menyumbang prestasi dalam kasus kejahatan lingkungan.
Pada Mei 2024, Wibawa membantu melacak barang bukti dan menemukan pelaku buron dalam kasus perburuan cula Badak Jawa di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon.
“Dia berhasil menemukan senjata api, senjata locok, dan senjata angin di saung warga. Setelah itu, tim juga menemukan pelaku DPO atas nama Atang,” jelas Subarkah.
Arco, Sang Ahli Deteksi Bahan Peledak
Arco, anjing jantan Malinois yang lahir pada 17 Januari 2017, adalah andalan Polri dalam mendeteksi bahan peledak.
Anjing ini telah terlibat dalam banyak pengamanan acara besar, termasuk Asian Games 2018, Ops Ketupat 2020, hingga pengamanan KTT G20 di Bali.
“Arco juga terlibat dalam pengamanan dan sterilisasi Istana Bogor, KTT ASEAN, dan pelantikan Presiden Terpilih Prabowo Subianto dan Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming Raka,” ungkap Subarkah.
Lupita, Sang Ahli Search and Rescue
Lupita, anjing Labrador berusia sembilan tahun, memiliki keahlian khusus dalam misi penyelamatan atau Search and Rescue (SAR).
Bersama pawangnya, Aipda Hamid, Lupita telah dikerahkan pada berbagai operasi bencana, mulai dari gempa di Lombok 2018 hingga pencarian korban erupsi Gunung Semeru.
“Dia sudah senior, sudah 9 tahun lebih. Operasi terbaru yang dia ikuti adalah Operasi Aman Nusa saat Gunung Semeru erupsi tahun ini,” kata Subarkah.
Kehadiran para K9 ini menjadi bukti betapa pentingnya peran mereka dalam mendukung tugas Polri.
Kemampuan khusus dari setiap anjing tersebut menjadi andalan dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan di lapangan, dari kejahatan narkoba hingga aksi pelacakan dan penyelamatan bencana.
