KOTA MALANG — Polresta Malang Kota menunjukkan dukungan penuh terhadap program 100 hari Presiden RI Jenderal TNI (Purn) H Prabowo Subianto dengan turut aktif dalam Asta Cita, sebuah prioritas pemerintah yang bertujuan mempercepat swasembada pangan nasional.
Di bawah arahan Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Listyo Sigit Prabowo, seluruh jajaran Polri diminta mempersiapkan berbagai sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung program jangka pendek, menengah, dan panjang demi ketahanan pangan.
Menindaklanjuti arahan ini, Kapolresta Malang Kota Kombes Pol Nanang Haryono, melalui Kasat Binmas AKP Liliek Isti dan Kapolsek Kedungkandang AKP Effendy Budi Wibowo, telah melaksanakan penanaman bibit jagung dan cabai di lahan seluas 1.000 meter persegi di Kelurahan Arjowinangun, Kedungkandang.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud nyata Polresta Malang Kota bersama Polsek jajaran untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan di wilayah,” ujar AKP Liliek pada Jumat (1/11/2024).
Ia menjelaskan bahwa penanaman bibit tanaman pangan ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan sumber daya wilayah sehingga Polri dapat berkontribusi nyata dalam swasembada pangan nasional.
Selain menanam jagung, Polresta Malang Kota juga merencanakan penanaman bibit cabai di polibag di sekitar area Polsek jajaran.
“Penanaman bibit cabai ini akan ditanam di setiap jajaran Polsek agar hasil panennya dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat setempat,” tambah AKP Liliek.
Polresta Malang Kota berharap langkah inovatif ini dapat menjadi contoh dan menginspirasi masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan lahan kosong demi ketahanan pangan.
“Kami berharap penanaman jagung dan cabai ini dapat menjadi contoh dan menginspirasi masyarakat untuk lebih aktif dalam memanfaatkan lahan kosong demi ketahanan pangan,” ujarnya.
Upaya Polresta Malang Kota dalam program Asta Cita ini bukan hanya mendukung prioritas Kapolri dalam ketahanan pangan, tetapi juga menjadi sarana edukasi kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya kemandirian pangan nasional.
“Program ini sekaligus menjadi sarana edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya swasembada pangan dan potensi pemanfaatan lahan untuk mendukung kemandirian pangan nasional,” pungkas AKP Liliek.
